24 Weeks!

Landon is 24 weeks old today-that is ALMOST 6 MONTHS! Yikes...it is scary and impressive he has been alive almost a half of a year ha ha.  Yay for Logan and I for not messing him up too terribly...yet =).

Rere is in town visiting us this week! Logan is out and about, so it is nice to have a visitor for Landon and I!  We have already been extremely busy!

Monday before Rere got in, Landon and I went to the pool. That was such a task to get myself, Landon, the stroller/carseat, diaper bag, towels, the pool floaty, and whatever else I need into the pool....for all of 45 minutes ha ha.  So I think I need to just take the necessities and then go! So more to work on.  We will all be venturing to the pool and perhaps the beach tomorrow or the next few days!

Rere has been helping me get the rest of the house put together. She was the yard work master...she mowed, trimmed, and pulled a bazillion weeds.  She also helped me decide if a giant plant was a weed or a plant! It really is sad when you can't tell.  We finally placed all the pictures in the house and we are almost settled.  This move was really much more time consuming than our move from Hawaii to Tennessee.  I am lucky that I have Rere to come out and help us get settled.  Who knows how long all the pictures and decorations would have sat around!  Here are some pictures of the front of the house and the lower level....the upstairs will come next week!

Landon has been a bit of a mess the past week.  I think we are coming into a growth spurt because he is back to being a stage 5 clinger and rather fussy! He also has been falling asleep at random which is VERY out of the ordinary for our wee man.

We are still working on sitting! He is doing pretty well.  He gets a little overly excited and then flings backwards and flops down.  Logan thinks if I let him hit his head he will learn not to do that...I don't think so lol.  Here he is working on his new skill!

Peanut is a friendly little man.  He loves to be talked to by anyone at the stores and just soaks up the attention.  He thinks Rere is pretty funny and will just sit and laugh and laugh at her.

Another big thing we discovered this week with Landon is he is allergic to SWEET POTATOES! Remember in last weeks blog how I talked about him over eating or having a stomach bug...well turns out sweet potatoes induce that reaction in our wee man.  We fed him sweet potatoes last night and as I was nursing him to put him down for bed, the vomiting ensued.  Poor little man threw up for about 2 hours ago.  We had to change him twice, change his sheets, and go through loads of blankets and burp clothes, but he eventually fell asleep and still only woke up once and got up at at 8.    So no more sweet potatoes for Landon!  Poor buddy!
