92 Weeks!

Landon has become such a big talker in the last few weeks that it is amazing. SO I decided to do an interview with a toddler...you will all see that he has the attention span of a fly...or maybe even worse than a fly. He pretty much doesn't have an attention span! He just started learning how to say S so now he says eggssssss and pleasssssee. It is pretty funny since it comes with a huge lisp.

Other current favorite phrases by Landon are:

-Daddy poopies...kills me every time.
-Ewww Daddy
-Rusty toys
-Sweepies, nigh nigh
-Daddy bwendar (Daddy's blender)
-Paw paw a bwin bwin (Papa is in the library)
-My Daddy is a very nice Daddy.
-Coo Coo's pwease (cookies please)
-Get down or sit down when standing on something he shouldn't be
-Santa ho ho ho
-Daddy shower
-ooooh mew man (ohhh mailman)
-my lawnma (my lawnmower)

I am sure there are more, but these are his most common phrases. He says something new every day and it amazes me how quickly he learns something.

91 Weeks!

We have had a pretty good week.  Landon has been off his schedule due to the time change which has made everything a bit more challenging this week.  I think he is slowly adjusting and we should be back on schedule in a few days. It has made for some nice long naps this week though!

We had music Monday, went for our weekly walk and coffee Wednesday, and he went to Mothers Day Out this morning and to visit Logan at work this afternoon. He has had some intense stranger anxiety lately, which makes him not into a very friendly boy when out in public or around anyone besides Logan and myself. If someone says hi to him (or anything really) he ducks his head into my shoulder and says no in his most bratty voice...I just try to tell people it is his age and a stage and ignore my seemingly bratty child!  Today, at Mothers Day Out, they said he had a rough time when people would come into the classroom and would cry and say noooo, if the other teachers came in. They eventually had to tell them not to come in at all because it was making him so upset! I have no idea what is going on in his little mind right now. I hope he goes back to his friendly outgoing self soon.

He got to visit Logan at work today. He got to sit in several helicopters, watch some planes and helicopters on the flight line, and just wander around.  I think he had a good time, but Logan said he was a bit nervous around everything new.  He took him to the train table in the Drs. office, but since Landon has some EXTREME Dr. anxiety, he flipped out and wouldn't play. =(.  I hope we get out of this anxiety phase soon! I feel bad he isn't enjoying things as much as he used to!

Here are the pictures this week:
Helping Daddy move the car in the garage.

Late night Elmo watching

Playing at the park near our house

I don't know why we have a toy room...

Nesting blocks!

Couch running...making me have a heart attack.

20 months-only almost a month late =).

Drinking his milk all alone at the table...

Stole my seat to watch Sesame Street

Landon is getting a train table for Christmas so I spent some time gluing the tracks to the boards during nap this week. I have a few more to do, but I hope this will keep him from ripping the tracks up and less work for me =).

Mowing...

 Landon playing with Logan

Landon hurt his toe and this is the sound he made for a good 30 minutes after to let me know he was in alot of pain...I think he is an alien!

He needs to be in gymnastics before he kills himself doing these type of things at home!

Until next week =).

90 Weeks!

The big event this week was Halloween! Landon dressed as Clark Kent! We had several costume mishaps between the tantrum over the tie and pretty much refusing to wear his glasses except for a few minutes to take some pictures.  We didn't get any smiling pictures, but we did get some cute ones.

We went over to a friends house in our new neighborhood (I knew them before) and we had four little boys all born in February 2012 trick or treating together.  We had Clark Kent, a biker, the Lorax, and Yoda.  Getting all four boys ready, put into the wagon, and asking them all too look at the camera was a bit much to ask! They did really well for their first real time trick or treating. They went to about 6-7 houses. At the second house Landon even knocked on the door. Wyatt really enjoyed getting candy, Landon just enjoyed the knocking on the door. He was having a great time until Logan took him up to the house with the Frankenstein and that scared him.  After that it all went down hill.  We wrapped it up quickly after that and came home and put our little Clark to bed.  Overall, he did great and it was fun to go with all the little boys!

Now, on to Thanksgiving and Christmas =).

Until next week!

87, 88, and 89 weeks, plus New House pictures =).

So I have been a bad blogger and missed about 3 weeks! Yikes-I kept meaning to do a post but with packing, moving, and unpacking we have been insanely busy! Plus, I felt like I was writing the same things every week, so I figured you guys were tired for reading the same old thing =).

So we moved last Saturday, the 19th. We had about 4 of Logan's friends come from work to help us.   We had one Uhaul and one guy brought his truck with a flat bed trailer.  It took the majority of the day to get most of the things moved, 2 Uhaul loads and one flat trailer load, but the guys got everything moved in without much damage to anything....well besides my desk that didn't make it!

That night, Landon actually broke our TV.  The guys left it at a perfect place for Landon to tip the  plasma tv over.  The next day we were getting ready to put it on the wall and as Logan lifted it, I noticed a giant crack going up the screen.  We decided to try turning it on before we wasted all our efforts putting it on the wall for it to not work-good thing, because the crack lit up white and then fried the rest of the tv.  Lesson learned for the boys, don't leave something where Landon can get to it! Thankfully, we needed a new tv and had planned on getting on Black Friday.  However, we just got it a few weeks early =).

We have had a few snafus with the house. We had an issue with the AC in the attic not draining correctly and it activated some emergency shut off, so we were without heat/AC for about 5 days.  We busted out Landon's small space heater since it was dropping into the 40s at night, so his room stayed warm and we stayed bundled the rest of the time.   Someone came out to replace the bad part on Tuesday and was here the majority of the day! I am just glad it is fixed.

Landon is adjusting pretty well. He loves all the room in the house to run around.  He is now extra crazy, so we are trying to teach him boundaries and to be more gentle (ha ha yeah right) with his toys since you can pretty much look at our walls and they scuff!  He has had a harder time going to Mothers Day Out since his separation anxiety is pretty high.  Today's drop off was awful, so I hope that next week is easier once we get back to our more usual routine.    He is learning so many new things every day.  He pretty much will mimic whatever you say.  The other day he said a whole sentence after Logan-Mommy is at the house. Logan said it was clear as day.  He is OBSESSED with babies.  However, he thinks all babies are sad because he hears them cry. So as hard as I try to explain babies can be happy to, he is pretty convinced they are all sad. When he hears one in the store, he says baby sad.  He also plays with his baby doll and will burp it, fake change its diaper, and rock it.  It is pretty sweet.  I can't wait to get more settled so we can get back to doing painting, coloring, etc. I think he really enjoys that.  He is always very excited to show me his art from school.  Overall, I think he is adjusting really well to our new house! He always calls it the "how", so I think he likes it =).

Most of the rooms are unpacked.  Landon's playroom/office needs some work; I need to find a new desk since the other didn't make it.  I also need to get a few more things from the garage inside so Logan can finish cleaning up the garage so we can FINALLY park inside the garage.   I unpacked the kitchen first, then Landon's room, our room, and then the guest rooms.  Logan still needs to work on the garage, break down all the boxes in the dining room, and put some things up in the attic.

Ok now time for the photo overload:

86 Weeks!

The little man is 86 weeks-which means he is almost 20 months old! I can't believe that we are almost out of the teens for months.

He has Mother's Day Out this morning and cried for the first time during drop off today.  I think it was different since Logan was with us.  We walked away with him crying Mommy; it was pretty sad. We signed him in and by the time we walked back passed his room he was fine, thankfully. His teacher said he was fine the rest of the morning and was happy to do art, play, and go outside. Today they made pumpkins!

Logan is back home and we are enjoying having him around! Landon missed him so much and is always a smiling guy when Logan is around to play with.  I had him looking out the front window when Logan pulled up and Landon got the biggest smile ever on his face and yelled Dada before running to the door to go meet him outside. =). I am glad that Landon doesn't seem scared to see Logan even though he has been gone and they pretty much pick up where they left off.

In other big news, I am trying out an online job for a company called Lionbridge.  It isn't quite what I was expecting, but I am giving it a month to see if the pay is even really worth my time...so far it isn't.  I was hoping to be able to make a bit of extra money with us moving and needing to buy new things, but so far I am not impressed.  SO we will see what ends up happening and if it is worth spending nap time and evenings working by rating online content.

Here is this weeks photos:

Until next week =).

85 Weeks!

This week has been better in terms of behavior for Landon. I think his teeth are feeling better, so he hasn't been as challening...a nice way to put it =).

He is just rather amazing at this age. I am pretty sure I hear him say something new every single day and it amazes me-he is like a little sponge. Yesterday after breakfast he kept saying done, and then some random word. I couldn't make out what it was until I asked him if he was sure he was done and he said sure-in some random baby language-that was the word he had been saying after he was done ha ha. So he was saying, done-sure...before I even asked if he was sure, smart boy!

Lately, he has been letting me rock him at night and sing to him.  He claps and says yay after every song which cracks me up.  I am glad someone enjoys my singing!

He was much better in music this week than the past week.  He followed directions and was willing to sit still. Even his teacher commented on how good he was behaving! Lets hope this is a new trend for him.  He is still loving his mothers day out! I really think in the spring we will put him in two times a week if we can afford to. When I dropped him off this morning he didn't even say goodbye, just ran to play with the trains. I yelled goodbye and he just kept playing! I guess that is good, I envisioned him crying for weeks when we started this, but instead the total opposite has happened and I love that he can be so independent! When I picked him up today he has two new bumps on his face. They said he fell off a chair and bumped his cheek bone. They said he didn't cry, just said uh oh and got back up.  Now if he were at home we would have had tears complete with lots of yelling about his eye.

Speaking of-when Landon gets hurt at home or when I am around he will grab whatever hurts and says ow or the body part. Lately though, he is a hyperchondriac and constantly grabs his eye and says eye in a sad hurt voice. I ask what happened and he just randomly points at things. Pretty funny actually. He will also do the same thing to his head. So I will kiss whatever "hurts" and send him on his way. This age is pretty funny.

For the pictures!
